2 Gang Recessed-Mount Drop In Floor Box – Brushed Aluminum Cover

The Lew Electric RCFB-2-A is a two gang, recessed, divided, drop in style floor box with a brushed aluminum hybrid cover (two 1 ¹/₄″ screw plugs inside of each single flip lid). The floor box allows you to plug into the recessed receptacle and not have the plugs visible or at the surface, creating a low profile look and removing the tripping hazard from the plug sticking above the floor. Rubber grommets are included to protect the cords around the threaded screw hole openings in the brushed aluminum cover when they are in use.

Inside the floor box are two UL listed,15 AMP (TR) duplex receptacles. A Lew RRP-2-PQ quad port Comm./Data device is also included to replace one of the receptacles if warranted. This allows for line voltage and Comm./Data to be utilized in the same box. The RCFB-2-A is a watertight assembly with its water tight screw plugs and durable ¹/₁₆″ neoprene gaskets that go under the flip lids. A second neoprene gasket goes between the cover and the finished floor, preventing water from accessing the box below. The UL listed, stamped steel box is designed for subfloor installation and the ¹/₂″ ko’s on all sides of the box makes cable entry easy and convenient.
