Description
The Lew Electric 1102-58 is a deep, heavy-duty cast iron concrete floor box designed for strength, reliability, and ease of installation. This fully adjustable, two gang, divided floor box includes a durable brass tile frame and offers 3/8″ of post-installation adjustment, allowing precise leveling after concrete is poured. Adjustment is quick and easy using four plate attachment screws and a standard screwdriver. With a 3.32″ deep design and offering 13 cubic inches of interior space per gang, this floor box provides ample room for electrical wiring and devices. Each side features a 3/4″ threaded opening for convenient wiring access. The unit ships with a protective concrete cover that safeguards the box during the concrete pour, ensuring a clean, professional finish.
For carpeted installations, pair the box with the optional CF-1102-DFB brass carpet flange (sold separately), which adds 3/8″ of height to account for carpet and padding. For tile or other flush installations, no flange is required. Simply pour concrete and then set the tile frame to the height of the finished floor level. To complete installation, two 1100 series brass covers are required.
The Lew Electric 1102-58 floor box is UL listed for the United States and cUL listed for Canada, standard ##514A, #489H, meeting strict electrical safety standards.
